Location : Santa Clara, CA - Remote



A ServiceNow Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This includes customizing workflows, forms, reports, and integrations with other systems, as well as ensuring the platform's stability and performance. They also collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


Any experience with ServiceNow AI Agent is Mandatory


  • Designing and Developing:

Creating and customizing ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet specific business needs.

  • Scripting:

Utilizing JavaScript, Glide API, and other scripting languages to extend ServiceNow functionality.

  • Integration:

Implementing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other methods.

  • Configuration:

Configuring ServiceNow components like tables, forms, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

  • Testing:

Conducting unit and functional testing to ensure quality and performance.

  • Troubleshooting:

Debugging and resolving technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.

  • Documentation:

Creating and maintaining technical documentation for all configurations and customizations.

  • Collaboration:

Working with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Platform Maintenance:

Assisting with platform upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure stability and performance.

  • Best Practices:

Adhering to ServiceNow development best practices, including code reviews, version control, and testing methodologies.

  • ITIL Knowledge:

Understanding and applying ITIL best practices and IT service management processes within ServiceNow.

  • Training and Support:

Providing training and support to end-users and junior team members.

Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, JavaScript, Glide API, web technologies (HTML, XML), and integration technologies (REST, SOAP).
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze business requirements, identify solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Organizational: Ability to manage tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
